Yolanda Adams Gospel Music Review

Before Yolanda Adams became a famous gospel music artist, she was a schoolteacher and a part-time model. She was raised in Houston, Texas as a child with 6 of her siblings. Yolanda Adams made so many hit gospel songs; church people are not the only people that are familiar with her hit songs. 

My grandmother gave me my first Yolanda Adams songs back in the day on a cassette-tape, and I played that cassette in my house and car. Ms. Adams songs spoke to my spirit when I became tired of the situation that was going on around me. My husband stayed in streets of Los Angeles, California off and on, I as a wife couldn't compete with my husband's male friends (his homies).

The song "The Battle is the Lords" is a song I had to hear to get me through tiring times of my life. I prayed to the Heavenly Father every night, that my husband would stop drinking alcohol and hanging out with his homies. Basically, the Yolanda Adams first record/cassette tape helped get me through those battling times.

I still listen to Yolanda Adams music on the radio and CD's, they are inspirational to my life, and her CD's make for great gifts to family members and friends.

Yolanda Adams published her first book in 2010, it's a Christian book named "Points of Power." Yolanda has won over 17 gospel music awards. She was married to Tim Crawford Jr. from 1997-2004, he was a professional football player. Yolanda's gospel music CD's can be found online at Amazon, cduniverse, and Barnes and Noble.
