Shirley Caesar Gospel Music Review

Pastor Shirley Caesar is also known as the First Lady of Gospel Music, although there were a few others before her. She won many awards for her gospel music songs. Pastor Caesar graduated from Shaw University in Business Administration in 1984. Shirley Caesar's gospel music CD's can be bought on Amazon, iTunes, and cduniverse.

My grandmother played Pastor Caesar's gospel music when I was growing up in high school. My grandmother probably didn't think we were really listening to the music she played around the house, but my siblings and I we actually were listening to the gospel songs my grandmother played on the stereo. My sibling and I would ask our grandmother for dollars to clean up the house, and my grandmother said "I have a song by Shirley Caesar I want ya'll to listen to." The name of the song my grandmother had us listen to was called "No Charge." It gave me and my siblings which were young teenagers also a new prospective on being givers and helping out around the house without expecting money in return.
