Lecrae Christian Rapper Climbing Higher on the Music Charts – Part 1

Many people may think that Lecrae Moore is a new Christian Music Artist, but he debuted his first album “Real Talk” in 2004. This is one Hip Hop Christian Artist that is climbing the gospel music charts rapidly such as the Billboard Gospel charts. With Lecrae’s music style Christian will not be disappointed, his lyrics are family friendly. His music does not mention the “N” (Nigga) word and there is no profanity in his songs as well.

His songs are rising higher and higher on the iTunes charts. This is a commendable rapper that glorifies the Heavenly Father in songs rather than glorifying drugs, gangs, and womanizing.  Some people may not agree with Christian Hip Hop Artists. But there are also a tremendous amount of people that believe that if the lyrics in the song contain messages from the Bible then it is truly Gospel music.

The first time I heard Lecrae’s music was online and I have been listening to it ever since. The song that got my attention was “We Don’t” by Lecrae.  I will soon be buying his CD’s for my daughter as gifts; one of my daughters is already fed up with listening to lyrics in Lil Wayne's songs.

I listen to this song in my car every day, I actually listen to three of Lacrae songs on CD, mixed in with other Christian music artists like Fantasia, Mary Mary, Sounds of Blackness, etc.
